Parents & Families
We acknowledge and respect the parents/carers role in a child’s early development and aim to work in partnership with you to make your child’s time at Elm Road Pre-School a successful and enjoyable experience.
We provide a half termly newsletter by email, keeping parents informed of our topics, future events, important dates and any other relevant information.
A keyworker will be assigned to your child when you come to one of our open days. The keyworker is there to help your child settle into Pre-School and support them through the early years foundation stage. The keyworker will be available for you should you have any concerns or issues you may wish to discuss. We have regular formal reviews of your child’s progress.
We work very closely with our feeder schools for your child’s transition. We invite teachers to come and meet the children that will be moving to their setting, by doing this we have found it helps the children have a much smoother transition.
